Today, through Kottravai, our social enterprise, we trained 30+ rural women in Aroma Candle Making—helping them build skills that can move them away from toxic, low-wage work such as beedi rolling.

My sincere thanks to Dr. Sundaresan, Chief Scientist, CSIR-CIMAP, and the dedicated team of trainers from Lucknow for conducting this programme.

We also had productive discussions on a Technology Transfer (ToT) partnership to bring 100+ innovative products developed by CSIR-CIMAP to Tenkasi—creating new opportunities for rural entrepreneurship, local manufacturing and sustainable livelihoods.
