Great to partner with @willcountygreen again for the annual post-Halloween pumpkin catapulting and recycling event! Thanks to all the @LewisUniversity physics and chemistry students who helped out with the event. Thanks also to the rain for holding off until the very end.
The Pumpkin Pitch @LewisUniversity is always a great event! @GoGreenLU has electronics recycling and paper shredding, and physics brings out their student-designed catapults and trebuchets to compost pumpkins. They’ll be here until 12p so come join the fun! @KozLab_LewisU
On Tuesday, we'll have a total lunar eclipse in the U.S.—the last one until 2025. Unfortunately, this lunar eclipse doesn't occur at a very convenient time for anybody. In the western U.S., you'll have to be up very late; in the eastern U.S., you'll have to be up very early.
Pumpkin catapulting and electronics and paper recycling at @LewisUniversity with the Lewis Society of Physics and Will County Green today until noon in lot W. Bring your pumpkins to compost!!
