Our newest single, "As Wide As Zen" is a celebration of spiritual searching and expresses the yearning for purpose expressed through the lens of cultural rootedness. The lyric video is your chance to go deeper with the song.

On Thursday we drop our first new single in two years! Pre-Save now to be the first to hear it. This will be one of the most truly unique songs we have ever done, and it features some significant musical surprises.

KOZEN is simply failed music.
It sounds like a child scribbling all over the page. Formless, meaningless, and unpleasant. Just a bunch of random noise that people trick themselves into liking, while they become numb to true musical quality in the process.

@ElephantCarnage @AdamKezer@RadioFW@InternalDivide Hey I would love to plug my band @KozenMusic for this playlist if you're open to some additions. We've been doing this same genre fusion, but it's been hard breaking out of Canadian circles to other listeners.
These songs all fit the vibe, I think!

Going back in time and trying to get lyric videos done for some of our older material. "Shadow Ocean Stagnant" is one of our classic and foundational tracks. Lots of great slap bass parts in this one. 😎

For however much controversy this band attracted, the one thing that seems to be almost universally uncontroversial is that their breakdowns went unreasonably hard.
One year ago we dropped Backpedal - our most conventionally “metalcore” but sneakily funky song we’ve ever done. It’s the most recent “heavy” song we’ve done. Can’t wait to deliver some more like this.

@SOTSPodcast I think some of the current more mainstream-appealing metalcore is basically Post-Grunge-core. The vocals are more emo than grunge but the songwriting is often very buttrock.
