@coelacanthstory I went to an album listening party recently where I sat at the back and I kept looking at everyone else thinking that is so weird and cool that they all have their own lives but for an hour we were together even without talking with each other.
Starts darker and more abrasive than their previous stuff, near the middle of the record it tones down a bit and then it's more melancholic. The second to last song is beautiful and I believe all ends on a hopeful note despite the hell we've been through.
I'd like to have enough money to be mute for at least a month. Currently it's not plausible to avoid all face to face human interaction, but there must be some level of independence that would let me do it. Being forced to speak is so frustrating.
@coelacanthstory For example, when the first half has the more energetic songs and the second half has the quieter ones, the full album experience is quite nice, as you rarely have more energy at the end. A good final track can be the icing on the cake.
@coelacanthstory Usually the vibe doesn't change too much or the ups and downs are well spaced and the overall experience balances out. That being said, lots of albums have a similar tone all throughout. It depends on the genre, but sometimes they're like one long song.
Nostalgia is a sickness and the past must be forgotten. Public data should be archived but anecdotes should be left to oral tradition. We weren't meant to have access to all of our old thoughts and nothing beneficial can come from that.
@tafphorisms@uncle_deluge As someone who speaks Spanish my first instinct was to read it like in that language, but it looks so strange that my brain changed to Italian because I know it well enough to read and not well enough to notice the weird words, though some of them do look French.
@Aisling_@Galanufra En programación es útil, por ejemplo, para crear cientos de usuarios de prueba (nombres, apellidos, DNI...) o cosas similares que comporten un gran volumen de datos. Para pura redacción de texto nunca le he visto el sentido.
