Request that WV House Health Committee members ‼️vote NO to SB460‼️
📌 The bill would: Allow religious & philosophical exemptions to WV childhood immunizations. Parents could write an excuse for no MMR, DTap, IPV, hepB, & varicella for their kids

@GodsRon I respect parents’ rights to make medical choices—but vaccines protect more than just 1 child. Parents can refuse, but in WV that means school entry isn’t guaranteed. Our vaccine rates save lives. Medical freedom matters—but so does public health and the safety of all children.
@GodsRon Childhood immunization laws don’t take freedom away—they protect it. They give all kids the freedom to grow up without deadly disease. Loving your neighbor and protecting the vulnerable is deeply aligned with the core of many spiritual teachings.
@rileywyantTV Making fun of a population with limited access to healthcare is unacceptable. As a med student in the great state of WV, if you or @NBC12 would like to send me those toothbrushes I will ensure they get into the hands of people who need them. PS enjoy your loss!!
Many women in the House chamber are wearing white — the color of the women’s suffrage movement — to spotlight issues like reproductive rights and equal pay
