Reporting keyword rankings to executives is a mistake.
They don't care about SEO metrics. They care about business metrics.

Prioritize what matters FIRST!
Match SERP intent for the SEO, but solve user intent or you won't ever be able to effectively monetize your pages anyway... If you want to monetize your pages effectively, then you need to align with user needs at every touchpoint.
Core Web Vitals— is it or isn’t it a ranking factor? Most #SEOs question Google in its latest. I too have seen it play a role in increasing rank. 👀 additional evidence: https://t.co/W2rXgMrRAK
To close, Google Search wants the open web and content creators to succeed. It’s the foundation for the result we show. We appreciate all of those who are making great content, and we’ll be looking at ways to better communicate with creators and reward that great content.
I was talking about various things people have raised where they want to see our results improve, or where they think "sure, you fixed this but what about...." And that these things all correspond to improvements we have in the works. That there's so much coming that I don't want to say buckle up, because those who are making good, people-first content should be fine. But that said, there's a lot of improvements on the way.
My problem with SEO courses is (& always has been) that by the time you finish making the course, much of the information is already out of date or no longer relevant.
Same with writing SEO books.
Not saying there aren’t good SEO courses & books, but this is a big challenge.
🤔 Did you know that sometimes, Google, and not your website, is the reason your pages aren't indexed? To verify this, use the Google Search Console.
Simply navigate to Indexing > Pages in the Google Search Console. Look for the Source column adjacent to the Reason column in the "Why pages aren’t indexed" section.
The Source will indicate either 'Website' or 'Google System':
❗️If the Source reads "Google System", the issue arises from Google's end. Most times, there's no action required on your part, except in certain instances where you might need to request page re-indexation.
❗️If the Source states "Website", the problem stems from your site, and you should address it if necessary.
