Season 20 might not sound exciting to some players, but with Custom Seas being free, I think it has real potential. It just needs a proper lobby system and a good selection of experiences.

Imagine being able to jump straight into both custom and official games from a lobby instead of using a code. With some rotating to highlight the best community creations and keep them thriving.

We know Custom Seas will grow over time, and Rare will be in “listen mode” but I think something like this needs to come sooner rather than later, so players have a good first impression and want to keep using Custom Seas.

If this launches in a good state, with features added regularly, and plenty of experiences to choose from, I could easily see Custom Seas bringing in lots of new/returning players and becoming one of the best updates we’ve ever had.
