I checked in with the rest of my family and I'm not a hacienda descendant after all. My decedents were still colonizers but were middle-lower class farmworkers. Not sure this matters much, but anyway. Either way, the conclusion is still the same.

@ToffeeNoodlez @canserfurro I am Latino. Much of my family left Mexico because of problems Latinos have.

My take is not equal to an expert in LATAM, but I do have firsthand experience in this.
