Don't just read the Bible for information. Read it to know God more and to live a more godly life by subitting yourself to it.
"Be doers of the word and not just hearers only" (James 1:22).
Pray with me
May 17, 2026
Father, I come before You humbled and honest. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I confess where I have failed You in thought, word, and action. Forgive me for the things I have done that dishonor You, and for the things I have left undone that You called me to do.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Wash me in Your mercy and restore the joy of Your salvation. Teach me to walk in obedience, humility, and truth. Thank You for the grace found through Jesus Christ, for Your love that never fails, and for forgiveness that is greater than my sin.
Help me turn away from the things that pull me from You and draw near to You with a sincere heart. I trust in Your mercy and rest in Your promises.
In Jesus’ name, amen!
Wanna know REAL power?
The Gospel of Jesus Christ does what politics, money, and human effort never can. It raises the dead heart, heals the broken soul, forgives the guilty, and restores the hopeless.
It will breathe life into your dark places.
"The Lord did not withdraw to some distant corner of the universe; He is present in the spirit of every believer. When we search His Word, when we stop to hear His voice, we will hear from Heaven." —Billy Graham
"It cost God the priceless blood of His only Son to get us sinners to Heaven. By tasting death for every man, Jesus took over our penalty as He erased our guilt." —Billy Graham
The Bible really happened, y'all.
The real Jesus died on a real cross for the real you and really rose from the dead, so that if you give Him your life He can really change it forever.
Anxiety tries to convince you that the worst will happen.
But Jesus reminds you that you're not facing the future alone.
He holds tomorrow, and He holds you. True peace isn't found in control, it's found in Jesus' presence.
A prayer for our brave troops:🇺🇸
Heavenly Father,
We lift up our troops to You. Please place Your hand of protection over each one. Wherever they are and whatever they face. Guard their bodies, steady their minds, and strengthen their hearts.
When they are weary, be their rest. When they are afraid, be their peace. When they feel alone, remind them they are never beyond Your presence.
Surround them with Your angels, guide their leaders with wisdom, and bring comfort to the families who love and miss them. May they know how deeply they are valued, honored, and prayed for.
Bring them home safely, Lord, in Your perfect time.
Amen 🙏🏼
Ben Sasse is dying of cancer, yet he’s taking the time to share the gospel with as many people as possible.
He says Jesus did everything on the cross to fulfill the whole law and He took away all of our sins. We’re not just justified, we’re actually being made intrinsically righteous. You can’t see it yet, but it will be accomplished. We’re saved on a cross tree outside Jerusalem and we are being saved and we will be saved completely.
We are an Adam, a member of this rebellious race. Imago Dei—we were created glorious in Gods image and meant for fellowship with Him and yet we are part of this rebel clan.
But that’s not the end of the story…
The end of the story is the new Adam came down from Heaven, laid down all His prerogatives and swept us up.
That is a man who is facing death with courage because he knows Jesus.
Not because he is counting on his own righteousness, list of good deeds, or record of public service, or considering “Wow, I accomplished a lot in life. Look at me. I was a senator.” But because he knows his Savior.
That’s the only place any of us can have confidence.
He is showing the world how to die well and that takes a lot of bravery.
God is still good.
God is still faithful.
God is still just.
God is still perfect.
God is still unchanging.
God is still eternal.
God is still in control.
God is still sovereign.
“There’s nothing simpler in the world than to believe in Jesus Christ. When that is done, you’re adopted into God’s family, you become God’s child, and your entire life is absolutely transformed.” —@BillyGraham
