Coins and terms like “AFK” and “XP” are being used in island thumbnails, titles, and other metadata to mislead players into believing that they can earn or unlock an impossibly high amount of XP. Spoilers, they don’t.
Our rules (1.13) prohibit using misleading content like this in your metadata. You have until February 4 to remove any misleading content like this, including references to AFK, XP, Coin farm, Coin slide or images of Fortnite coins (or similar coins).
We will be removing this content from our ecosystem and creators will receive escalating penalties – including impacts to monetization, island removal, and account suspension.

@WhatTheRift@FNCreate I can't believe they did it yet again 🤦♂️ legit will makes thousands of kids now apply and spam horrible copy paste maps for some quick cash 😭
Shift the algorithm to not only promote shitty instant dopamine maps like red vs blues and more variety. Also, I noticed that fall guys maps are rotated pretty nicely. (Other than the top 10) and maps are rotated every 30-60 minutes with almost every map had some players. 3/3
On youtube, 86% of all videos have less than 1,000 total views.
I get your point, sure the situation rough, but I don't think its that bad.
Also, most maps do get players, but don't keep them.
Last note is in our space, there are a ton of spammers with little to no takedowns.
Sure, it's not really smart to compare 1,000 views to 0 players in a fortnite map, but you have to remember that most maps do get players! Even if it's 100 total, then the map dies. It's so much better than what we had before 2022. Epic needs to 2/3
@immaturegamer - make something that you will enjoy playing
- dont create maps just for money
- you must have a good thumbnail
- dont let the numbers demotivate u
