The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions. The speeds are now where they need to be. The restoration began overnight, and by this morning, speeds were already sufficient. This matters: for our frontline logistics, for defending Ukraine against jet-powered “shaheds.”
I thank all Americans and all our partners who took this seriously and truly helped – members of Congress, senators, all the media, the State Department, and the President. Protecting lives matters.
Mr. President Trump, this is for you.
You say you want peace.
Yet you make deals with the man destroying Ukraine.
While you discuss fuel prices,
We bury our children.
While you thank putin,
We prepare for another winter without heat and electricity.
We didn’t start this war.
We are fighting to survive.
You call it a good deal.
From Ukraine, it feels like betrayal.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky: It would cost the U.S. nothing, absolutely nothing, to help Ukraine.
And I said openly: Help us defend our skies and dominate them. And then Putin will sit down at the negotiating table.
Why? Because he will lose everything. Lose everything. Three months, two months — he will lose everything.
“russia, unfortunately, has lost control of its oil refining industry because of the war with Ukraine.” — Trump.
Glory to Ukrainian long-range strikes.
Indeed, this Russian war against Ukraine and against common sense must be ended. From the first year of the full-scale invasion, its consequences have been far-reaching: the loss of many lives, the destruction of cities and villages, food security, energy challenges, the extraordinary pace of technological development, including autonomous drones, and the rapid advancement of strike capabilities never seen before. Every new week of this war, let alone every new year, adds more and more problems. From the very first minute, Ukraine has sought peace. We have already made dozens of diplomatic proposals on how to end this war with dignity, guarantee security, and prevent new Russian invasions. Right now, there is a dialogue with President Trump and America. There are also ideas on the table for bringing peace closer, starting with strong de-escalation steps. Ukraine’s energy sector, critical infrastructure, and our food exports must stop being targets for Russia, and this will lead to matching de-escalation steps on our part. Solutions are possible. We are ready to work on this, and we will discuss it with our partners on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. I thank everyone who is helping! It will no longer be the case that only the country under attack suffers. The nature of war is now such that the aggressor will suffer as well. Technology makes this possible. The strength of countries’ leadership can – and must – deliver de-escalation, security, and peace. Thank you!
Donald Trump just replaced the Pledge of Allegiance with a pledge of allegiance to himself.
This November, the choice is yours on the ballot:
America or Trump.
We’re getting word that the first airlines have started to suspend flights to Russian airports following our announcement about the drone hazard that objectively exists in Russian airspace.
This is the right and perfectly logical response to the facts as they are – to everything stemming from the war Putin doesn’t want to end. Lives must be protected. Ukraine has already officially informed international organizations and our partners about the real situation in Russian airspace.
August 29 is a very important day, a special day. Today, we honor the memory of the heroes, the fallen heroes of Ukraine, all our defenders, who have been fighting in the full-scale war since 2022 and in the vile war, hybrid war – Russia’s war against Ukraine, against the Ukrainian people – since 2014.
Now, when thousands and thousands of our warriors are defending Ukraine’s position on the front, when our people are being killed in Russian strikes, when we are doing everything to drive this war out of Ukraine and into Russia, primarily through our long-range strikes, we remember that all of this is our active action, all of this is our memory living on. Our active memory. The memory of the deeds of Ukrainian heroes, of the deeds of every man and woman who did not surrender to Russia, who is fighting for Ukraine’s right to be itself.
We honor Ukrainian warriors, we honor the courage of the Ukrainian people, we remember everyone who gave their life for Ukraine, so that Ukraine could live. Thank you. We thank our fallen heroes. We thank all the warriors of our state.
Today, legendary American boxer Terence Crawford is in Ukraine. He has supported our country and our people since the first days of the war. We deeply value having people like him stand with Ukrainians.
As a gesture of solidarity, Terence gifted me an American Pit Bull Terrier puppy – a female named Freyja. Her grandfather Athos survived the Russian occupation of Bucha, and now Freyja bears the name of our future FREYJA air defense system – as a symbol of our protection.
Thank you for the meeting and for this very warm and special gift. Thank you for your support and for your respect for our people.
