Elon Musk made the blue verified check mark purchasable for eight dollars, leading to a lot of jokes about the check mark. After the backlash, Elon musk made an official gray tick mark so people would not get confused. #BeachSMC

@olmos_kassandra I agree that this is wrong and especially because many of the employees were getting information from other sources. #BeachSMC

Instagram is working on creating a feature where people can add a song to their profiles. This is similar to what MySpace did in the early 2000’s, but this concept is still in the early stages of development. #BeachSMC

@AdamCamarena It's really interesting that WhatsApp is creating a film, especially since it is a messaging app and has never really delved into the entertainment side of social media. #BeachSMC

Some people’s twitter hasn’t been working since the news of Queen Elizabeth II’s death. It is stated that this is likely happening because of all the people looking for information on social media platforms. #BeachSMC

@emelyysalguero It’s strange how willing instagram is to take ideas from other apps and use those ideas for their own benefit. #BeachSMC

As social media apps like TikTok grow, other apps like Facebook have to adapt to keep up. This could be the beginning of the decline of some social media apps that have had a large presence for a long time. #BeachSMC

Instagram has already tried to take some of TikTok’s features. Now instagram is trying to take some of BeReal’s features and do the same thing. Instagram is gradually becoming a mix of other social media apps. #BeachSMC
