There's little expectation from the section of the media that openly functions as the BJP's amplifier. But even the rest seems more interested in endlessly searching for and promoting the next "Congress alternative" than covering opposition movements that actually exist on the ground.

Had they given sustained attention to NSUI and Youth Congress protests, it could have created genuine political pressure. Governments pay attention when organizations with an established political base begin gaining momentum, because that carries electoral consequences.

Instead, the spotlight is repeatedly handed to political experiments with little organizational strength, little public presence, and even less ability to challenge those in power.
