I made the chore of picking a character in BBTAG a "Choose Your Own Adventure" game by making a Character Select Flowchart that covers literally every possibility and every character.

-no throw loops
-parries have real risk/reward
-plus frame normals (promotes expressive pressure and real strike/Throw)
-checkmates are very rare
-no drive rush (real neutral)
-strike/throw is earned via knockdown (winning neutral)
