San Japan wants to announce two of our #sanjapan15 Cosplay Show Judges. Please welcome @CptnCharlemagne and @ChibiTifa.

Charlemagne Bio:

I am Charlemagne, and I have been a cosplayer for 25 years, donning my first cosplay in the bygone year of 1999! At 39 years old, I am an Oklahoma native and a Dallas transplant, having lived in the Big D since 2008. Over the course of my career as a cosplayer, I have dabbled in a variety of techniques, including wig working, thermoplastic armor making, paint work, weathering, makeup, and of course, sewing, where my true passion lies in historical and vintage fashion. I pursued a Theatrical Design degree at the University of North Texas, and have had a few pieces on the professional stage in the DFW area. I am also a huge advocate of cosplay charity and community outreach, and have been a member of the Rebel Legion and Cause to Play for a number of years. I am also a founding member and the commanding officer of the Texas chapter of the Avengers Initiative, a nationwide Marvel themed cosplay outreach organization. I am a huge Captain America fan, an LGBTQ+ Rights Advocate and member of the community, and love to encourage new cosplayers into the hobby.

ChibiTifa Bio:

ChibiTifa is a cosplayer from Maryland with 20 years of experience in the hobby and a World Cosplay Summit 2021 representative. She's made a vast array of costumes and has been a cosplay craftsmanship and performance judge at several conventions all over the country. As a fairly busy career woman in media, she somehow manages to balance both her work and cosplay life. Tifa makes it her mission to make the cosplay world more welcoming & accepting to any and all newcomers.
