MY FACE IS CONTORTED INTO THE MOST FULL OF SMILES
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
BRUH
This Riot bs means I'm never going to see Kindred or Katarina or Riven in 2XKO
MAN I'M EVEN MORE SAD
I HYPED UP A KINDRED RELEASE SINCE DAY 0
GOD DAMN IT YOU SUIT WEARING MFS
This is tough. It’s not the outcome that any of us had hoped for. I’ve been playing fighting games for over 30 years, made so many amazing friends along the way and have been lucky to experience some unbelievable moments across many legendary titles. I dreamed of one day creating something special for the FGC to help enable even more of those moments. I wanted to give back to the community that had given me so much.
2XKO is the culmination of that dream. This is a dream shared by every member of our team. The amount of love and passion everyone who has ever worked on this game has put into it is unreal. The team delivered a fighting game where you could fight against your friends or choose to take on the world together alongside them. They delivered and elevated League of Legends champions in ways that only a fighting game could.
We made a called shot when 2XKO was born as a mixed mode solo/duo game that if two of the top 8 slots of Evo were Duos, then we have achieved our goal of making playing with a friend a competitively viable endeavor in fighting games. The Evo crowd was treated with the first 2XKO top 8 match on finals day being a duo vs duo match sending one team home and deciding who is the strongest duo. This was unbelievably special for the team.
Even though we are ending active development at the end of the year, I am glad that folks will be able to play 2XKO beyond that, and that the love poured into it will live on. The team is giving everything they’ve got to deliver a final version of 2XKO to you that everyone can be proud of. We can’t wait for you to play Lux and Samira, so please look forward to them.
Thank you to everyone who has worked on 2XKO for creating a really special game, and thank you to all of the players who created moments we will never forget.
The news is here. I'm obviously very sad, but I'm so happy I got to work on it. It's been a dream.
I love the players, I love 2XKO, and I'm really happy with the work that we've done and where the game is. There's more work to do, thanks for the love.
c u in da patch notes
That said, obviously, the players are still going to ride for the game. I'm no different. This is one of my favorite fighters of the year. So with the servers staying on...
If you're ever looking for some sets.
I'm still playing. Hit my line.
I'm a BBTAG fan for god's sake.
-Hype up a really cool idea for several years
-Have amazingly talented team full of names from the FGC itself
-Finally release the game to appeal
-Have awesome tournament turnout and community support
-Game doesn't make Valorant money
-Kill it less than a year in
Riot gonna Riot

Higher ups are going to be just fine. They don't give a damn.
But I absolutely feel for the devs. So much heart has been and continues to be put into 2XKO, and I hope that each and every one on the team has a solid landing after this.
So yo
On the real
If you know what Flippers and ECG are, thank you for the good times and memories.
If you know what VERSUS GAMING CENTER IS, we DEFINITELY gotta link!
I may not be around this hellsite much nowadays, but I'm everywhere else! SFL fam hit my line! 👀
Yo, real talk
With CEO '26 now behind us, I've been looking back at videos and photos from CEOs past.
I stumbled upon a bunch of old files of tournament stuff I filmed. Legit vlogged CEO 2017 type flow.
I remember '17 especially like it just happened this weekend. Shiz is crazy.
Frostbite '18 is one of my favorite tournaments of all time, from an everything standpoint. Bracket hype, friendship hangouts (FL people's first time in snow. Hilarious.) and vibes overall.
And I'm yapping at this point as I do so well, but I just miss the times and the homies.
CEO '26 was incredible, as every year is, but damn if the FOMO didn't lowkey hurt this time.
Watching people I've seen at locals for years showing out across multiple games was amazing! Best believe your boy was giving the energy from home!
MOST DEF gotta lock in to go next year!
CEO RETURNS IN 2027!
Labor Day weekend, September 3-5, right back here at Rosen Shingle Creek! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
✅Same FGC Energy
✅Bigger JebaileyWorld

Holy hell Roy won a major
And who else but Kola to pilot
Loved watching the run, and even watching his run in Melee
Many years later, and I still got love for my boy 🔥
