I came across a speech by Margret Thatcher “A country gets prosperous not by having a natural resources, its by managing the human resources” , the greatest wealth is human….. #Nepal#balenshah#Kathmandu
🇰🇷 South Korea went from one of the poorest countries on Earth to a top-10 economy in a single generation.
GDP per capita in 1960: ~$158
GDP per capita today: ~$33,000
No natural resources. No head start.
Just education, discipline, and 60 years.
What makes IISc a IISc- is great management. I have not seen any other institute in India - where you get into any buildings’ washroom and wrinkle your nose… Even that ground level management is classic….. #IISc
