Gotta love it when a normal jump-in beats and punish counters your OD DP on interaction.
Street Fighter 6 and it's reliable anti-air OD moves.
Oh well. Another day with the flawless systems of #SF6
@birufgc Annoying when that happens in ranked.
Though I wish hours meant ability.
I have near 700 hours in practice and well over 500 hrs in Battle Hub... and on a good day I'm a high platinum. Maybe.
Used to be able to usually take down diamond 2 players, but no longer.
Those scars on Yasmine's legs and arms look really gut-wrenching in her story.
Like... I'm fairly sure they're all combat scars but... man. They sit in that art with a heavy dread. That is a picture of sorrow. Damn.
#Streetfighter6
@zDamascus Plus Argentina has proven over and over that they are one of the teams with the best mental state to keep it together and score survival goals in the dying minutes of the game.
England almost chose to lose the lead. 1-0 at 55' against ARG is not turtle-up time.
@zDamascus Yeah, I get the whole "defend a lead" mentality, an age old thing, but... they did it way too early.
Norway won against Brazil by NOT doing that. They kept possessing the ball and playing the game that got them in the lead.
England lost by retreating inside the box for 35 min.
@FrancisAwartefe While this World Cup has seen inconsistencies :
A tucked in hand has tended to not be a handball in this World Cup. It needs to be deliberate OR make him unnaturally bigger.
Exception : If a goal is scored "immediately" after an accidental hand/arm touch, then it is a foul.
@mehdirhasan Correction : Fascinatingly it wasn't just MAGA accounts. American exceptionalism is a both isles issue.
Tommy Vietour from Pod Save America wrote he was "overjoyed that this injustice was corrected".
It was really something to see.
@mehdirhasan Also if France's tax dollars were going in massive amounts to fund ICE, it would be pretty reasonable for said theoretical French lawmaker to go see the situation with his own eyes.
And to demand to not fund evil. But opposing evil is a bridge too far for many.
@fifamedia The World Cup has seen scandals before.
But this time FIFA is literally manipulating their ball chip graph in order to claim that something that obviously happened.... didn't happen.
Well. At least now we know with a provable visible lie that the World Cup matches are fixed.
@birufgc I've wondered what the problem is. Is it too "generic electric street" or why the duds are so meh.
It has some great ones in there though.
Maybe... it's jam music in the wrong way.
Not "video game music". Not like SF 2-5 is. Some DLC themes are though and they work VERY well.
@zDamascus PS.
To be extra clear, this is me agreeing with you Damascus😅
Just wording out how I agree and why the complainers are just not aware of basic realities of the contact element of football.
Frustrating to see that. Social media is full of bleh from the World Cup.
@zDamascus That fall, after an extensive VAR check, was deemed a foul. An example of a player who has learned to anticipate contact by limpfalling through the leg that he will get tripped by either way.
That is what damage prevention looks like. Safe is better than looking good.
4/4
@zDamascus Looks like a foul to me. I guess VAR looked if Mbappe "sought the contact" but he isn't obligated to acrobat his legs out of there. Some try, some don't.
Going limp the moment a leg is in the way may not look "manly" but you don't want to power through those and snap your shin.
@cenkuygur It's endearing to see the left and right in US come together and hold hands in the age old common understanding that the rules applying to the Americans is "BS".
It really warms the heart!
@TVietor08 There's some sort of catharsis in seeing that a Democrat can come together with Republicans on this specific issue.
On the age old mutual understanding that the rules applying to an American is an "injustice".
@PMBY89@1realtt@zDamascus Very possible! Maybe they can't win over that person.
But they aren't the masses. The quiet ones who just think the threshold is too high.
Might go a long way if the most mainstream-ish FGs have them too. Like SF6. Then they might try an anime fighter. And find those there too!
@1realtt@zDamascus More snappy than the SF6 tutorial tasks or the character guides. Those remain separate. No big text boxes in "lab trials".
At the "lab wall" point, chances are players know what a "punish counter" and a perfect parry is.
Choose character -> lab trial 3 : Punish counter X. Go.
@1realtt@zDamascus I also mean that in the bigger picture it would be a genre wide help if someone added things as effective and normal and present that does that as the "combo trials" are.
So other FG's would likely adopt it as a thing as normal as combo trials are.
"Lab trials?"
