@IPTAY@ClemsonAlumni@ClemsonPrez@ClemsonFB where are you? As an alumni of @ClemsonUniv I am ASHAMED of our University and I know I am not alone.
That orange paw represents the morals and values of an institution, history, tradition and family that means more than a football game and you are desecrating it. Celebrating the public execution of a husband, a father, a son, a friend bc you disagree with him is not politics or free speech, it is disgusting and evil and it does NOT represent the values of our school.
Allowing anyone who shows that lack of humanity to have influence on our students and be a representative of our University by being employed by our school is unacceptable. We will not stand quietly by while you disgrace us all with inaction in defending the Tiger family. There IS something in those hills, and If you think you will not hear our roar to protect it you are sadly mistaken.
Tiger alumni we must stand together as one voice and be silent no more to the destruction of what Clemson represents. PLEASE repost, tag, contact Board Members https://t.co/5vtVRhCM14 and SC politicians. @NancyMace@NikkiHaley@LindseyGrahamSC
I never thought I would say this in my entire life and it absolutely breaks my heart…#DefundClemson
IT ONLY GETS WORSE: a THIRD member of @ClemsonUniv Faculty has been found spouting EGREGIOUS hate on his social media after Kirk's assassination. This is the worst one yet!
Robin Newberry has been at Clemson for decades in the position of Asbestos Program Manager, where he makes a six-figure salary.
However, he slipped up. The photo on his LinkedIn matches with one he posted to his Facebook, where all of his most vicious posts can be seen.
THIS WILL NOT END UNTIL ACTION IS TAKEN. @ClemsonPrez
@LarryJones Lost my taste very early but had no other symptoms, then full blown once about a year later. Zero Vax and I have chronic persister Lyme disease.
I have had advanced persister Lyme for over 35 years and am a microbiologist, worked on the Lyme vaccine and follow all Lyme research. This is bullshit - please stop spreading this bc it sets people up for a lifetime of suffering. One pill will not “prevent Lyme” - absolutely patently false.
We were one of the 75 teams bounced from the elimination bracket this week. We went 3-2 in pool play - including one game we lost in the 6th inning with 2 outs and 2 strikes and the opponent hit a walk off 2 run HR. We were the 37th seed and saving our pitching for elimination play - which many smart teams do bc you may have to play five games in a day to make the full run. We missed the elimination bracket by 5 spots.
You are 100% correct dreams park markets they play no matter what. Rain or shine - all night long. We were here 10 yrs ago with our older son and then 2 more years consecutively with the club we owned before coming this year. My son’s team played at 3am 10 yrs ago when we had this same weather issue. Those kids will never forget that game. There was a way rain stopped and they could have done the same - they chose not to do it.
Teams raise money all year long to come here, coaches offered multiple solutions the Ops team wouldn’t even hear them out. There were plenty of viable ways to let these kids play. They weren’t interested. The coaches meeting got so contentious CDP threatened to call the police. Then the kids started protesting in the barracks: “Let Us Play!” “Coach Lou wouldn’t want this!!” “It’s a scam!” They weren’t wrong. CDP robbed these kids and families of this experience and you can only come here when you are 12U. There is no justification - figure it out. Find a way.
The seeding literally means nothing - you could play 5 bad rec teams or 5 nationally ranked teams in pool play and there is no rhyme or reason. The 17th team played the 29th seed in the championship (when only 32 teams made it) and the #1 seed lost in their first game with some of the other top seeds getting blown out. 10 yrs ago we were the 48th seed and we made the sweet sixteen.
How does a place that survives on delivering a tight baseball schedule every week and makes over $50M a summer not have infield tarps?!!!
Coach Lou who founded CDP would never have allowed this decision and ruined this week for 75 families. Hardly anyone even stayed to get their rings or for closing ceremonies they were so angry. The kids were the ones who felt the most robbed - it’s one thing to get beat, it’s another thing to not even get a chance to play.
It’s shameful what this place has become since he passed away. Used to be $1 water and hot dogs - much like the Masters - they prided themselves on affordability at concession stands. Now it’s MLB Park pricing $4.50 for a water, $20 for a hamburger meal. Used to be college kids working for the summer who were so engaged with the kids, now it’s all international people on work visas who look annoyed and are rude. The level of baseball is way down from when we were last here. Food in the barracks is inedible. Showers are either ice or scalding. Really sad to see how far it’s fallen from the special place it once was. The decision they made this week cemented that feeling for me as a 4x attendee that this is now a money grab and no longer about putting the kids and family experience first.
@WhiteHouse@PeteHegseth@DeptofWar@danawhite’s Air Force tribute: For generations America has been defended by warriors willing to step up when others wouldn’t. That legacy isn’t finished. It’s passed down and earned by each generation. FLY FIGHT WIN
@danawhite voiceover hits hard -“That fighting spirit doesn’t belong to one generation. It gets passed down, EARNED, carried forward.” Who is ready to be a part of something bigger than themselves? Who is ready to carry on the legacy passed down from generations of warriors? Join the Fight at https://t.co/xcnzsVzbNh
Proud the event I created in 2024, this year became multiple events across the country exposing thousands of high school students to over 40 different Air Force & Space Force career fields. Yesterday was our 2nd All Star Leadership Day and we celebrated with a special “All Star” 😉
This week, Paul surprised over 600 local high school students at the 171sst Refueling Wing for All Star Leadership Day, where they learned what a career in the Air Force looks like.
@GuntherEagleman This video was shot by Air Force ROTC Cadets today from Embry Riddle Detachment 157 - kuddos to them for the awesome work! #det157daytona500
