AI didn’t affect my income, but it affected the meaning. I spent years building my style,
and now it can be replicated in seconds 🥲

So I’m returning to traditional painting…
to be a creator who can’t be generated))

I started a huge painting about how we “melt and burn out at work”…
right when I was burned out myself as a creative producer.

Eventually, I quit :)

It's so strange to lose touch with a painting... when it lived in your studio for six months, and then goes to a new home to make other people happy 🍣

This weekend I started working on a new painting, which will be part of a portrait series titled “You Are What You Eat”, where the human form merges with the culinary delicacies of a particular country. As you can see, I started with Japan 🍣
