I have been looking for a solution to this issue for years. Finally found https://t.co/9ceOlZJU3F to force the media keys to play/pause Spotify, but it doesn't work when Youtube is open in Safari. Please update or help me, @alfredapp :-)

@vhgalvao @alfredapp No the exact opposite. My media keys on my keyboard controls whatever media player in an open browser window. I can only control Spotify/Apple Music if I completely quit Safari/Chrome etc.
