Sweden has built what has become the envy of many; a very strong market for public listings, vibrant ecosystem of advisors, and unusually many active retail and professional investors.

How do you explain culture?

We tried our best to do just that, spending two days in Stockholm, showing investors and founders from across Europe and North America how the Swedish public markets ecosystem works.

We visited both @__Spotlight___ and @Nasdaq and got first hand insights from both investors and advisors, who shared their thoughts on why the Swedish model works so well.

A great afternoon yesterday at @ Spotlight Stock Market and today @Nasdaq in Sockholm, co-hosted with @Reverion, and bringing together founders, investors, and capital markets professionals.

Sweden has built one of Europe’s most dynamic ecosystems for growth companies. Platforms such as Spotlight give ambitious businesses a credible route to public capital, a broader investor base, and the opportunity to continue scaling as listed companies.

That is why we are backing @KrisLippert and his team at @reverioncapital , which will build on this infrastructure by creating and capitalising acquisition vehicles to help high-quality European growth companies to access Sweden’s public markets.

There is much the rest of Europe can learn from the Nordic model: not just deep pools of capital, but the tools and culture that help promising businesses make the transition to public markets.

Is Europe going to be able to compete on AI?

Only 30-35% of Europeans have a positive sentiment towards AI, compared to China’s ~85%. A dramatic difference, and seemingly the gap will grow as China embraces AI even more.
