@BriannaSwyryda@KIN110UofR UFC and next I’d say Rugby. UFC for obvious reasons👊🏻.. on the other hand people often forget about rugby and it’s violence; running at each other full speed with intentions of bringing pain to one another, with no equipment at all.
@BodnarMakayla @KIN110UofR There has been claims of Marijuana use before games and after from athletes such a Percy Harvin & Calvin Johnson. I don’t believe athletes should be able to intake THC before games, however after games I believe is ok because it would help many with the use of opioids in the NFL.
@senecalkin110@KIN110UofR It depends how he apologizes more than anything. I doubt even with the most sincere apology that he would keep his job because what was said is irreversible. However, an apology would definitely help out Dons’ case (Don getting hate) even though Don might not care to apologize.
@KIN110UofR Important leadership positions should be decided by a male and female judge. Big or small position, females need to have just as high of chance to get a position as males, that is why having a female and male judge is best.
@KIN110UofR “Men do not cry it’s a sign of weakness”. 25 years ago it was unheard of for men to show emotions about sport, nowadays and for many years already, there’s emotional male athletes showing us fans how much the game means to them, and nobody can judge them since it’s become normal.
@KIN110UofR The government could make Tv commercials to education how important eating healthy and exercising is on a daily basis. Perhaps a point system with small rewards and recognition would spike interests of citizens as well.
@KIN110UofR Esports has yet to be seen on TSN. However, ESPN has been covering Esports for years, but why here in Canada can’t we see competitive gaming on television? Esports is up and coming, I believe TSN would get better views covering Esports than a lot of other sports.
@KIN110UofR Almost any major sport releases highlights of the game either on YouTube, Instagram or another platform for the viewers that missed the game or don’t have time to watch a full one. On tv, the network will show a couple of the most appealing highlights to get people to go online.
@KIN110UofR In the CFL, a rouge is scored when a kicked ball “touches or crosses the Dead Line or a Sideline in Goal, and touches the ground, a player or some object beyond these lines.” This makes games more winnable and complicated which draws fans who enjoy an intense game.
@KIN110UofR Having a team surrounded by brands you support and people you admire makes the sport more enjoyable. When you have famous actors being involved in commercials for your team it draws your attention in without a doubt. Also team merchandise creates relationships with random people.
@KIN110UofR It’s because the experience the Riders sell. The Riders created the face of Saskatchewan through making the games so enjoyable win or loss. It’s an ongoing party all game regardless of your age.
@KIN110UofR Yes we couldn’t stand on slides, have more than one person on the slide, jump off high playground equipment, and jump off the swings. Teachers would enforce the rules but the students would rebel when the teachers weren’t looking.
@KIN110UofR Adventure playgrounds are safe if you use them correctly. I would let my kid play on them because he/she has to learn how to make good decisions over bad decisions independently as well as listen to my guidance of how to play safe. #adventureplaygrounds
@KIN110UofR Kids want to improve there game and get recognition, that’s if they’re serious about the sport. Others are simply there to make friends, connections, and have fun.
@KIN110UofR Typically in football if you’re dressed “swaggy” other players will think you’re elite since you look a certain type way, when in reality it’s just extra accessories and no added skill to your game. It’s just an appearance to intimidate. #socialworlds
@KIN110UofR University has not yet introduced myself to playing a sport but has introduced me to cheering on the Cougars volleyball team this weekend at our home tournament. Although you’re not playing you make an impact on the players with with verbal positive reinforcement.
@KIN110UofR In NCAA, especially football and basketball, the athletes are making hundreds of millions for their university’s and the NCAA organization without getting paid. These players are putting their bodies on the line for only an education IF they’re even getting a full ride.#whatsfair
@KIN110UofR Under Armour came out with this ad in hopes to boost their performance apparel sales by selling product that will undeniably make you compete better. That’s a big statement with little promising outcomes and to add this product isn’t North American made. #functionalisttheory
@KIN110UofR Esports is contradicting the backbone of sports, which is to be physically exerted while taking part in sport. My view is you can’t possibly sit in a chair, move your thumbs and proclaim esports an actual sport. ❌🎮❌@KIN110UofR https://t.co/FBDEPBmGG3
