My favorite part of the Donovan trade. We get to see moments like this again:

📽️ OTD 16 years ago the Utah Jazz stunned the #TMac & Yao Houston Rockets by winning Game 7 on the road in what is also the last game Jeff Van Gundy (fired 2 weeks later) has coached in the #NBA

“There may be, (say,) one game changing player that becomes available this summer. But any time there will be a game changing player involved, we’re in the game, we’re in the conversation. You just have to temper it because you can’t rush into bad decisions”
- Danny Ainge

Riley’s 7-10 NBA Draft pocket revisited 🧵 worth the read!

[Riley @rgiss11]

Ben is awesome, thank you for the shoutout! A couple thoughts after a season of development:
• I'd be surprised if the Jazz knew that *this* was coming from Lauri, but I would also be surprised if they didn't expect some sort of leap. He was arguably the third best in Eurobasket

@ChipotleTweets Points for saving y’all in my contacts?

[Kris Smith @KrisNBA]

@ChipotleTweets Any chance you could help? A long work meeting ruined my chances

[Kris Smith @KrisNBA]

@jazzteamstore It has to be Clarkson’s dunk in LA with LeBron and Westbrook casually taking in the moment. I think this is super ICONIC because it signifies the long way JC has come as player, from his time in LA, to a lead guard on a team surpassing expectations, especially at the time.

To understand the direction and philosophies of the Jazz FO, you need to read the tea leaves. I hope those who are wishful for ping pong balls read this…

A thread of quotes from Jazz personelle this season that I feel sums up this season vs last nicely:

“I saw a team that didn’t believe in each other”
- Ainge

“When adversity hit, the resolve wasn’t there. I believe individually they have resolve, just not collectively.”
- Ainge

[Kris Smith @KrisNBA]

@VegasInsider @JTFOz You must be assuming Walker Kessler and Clarkson are playing tonight.

During the halftime show, @JalenRose said Chris Paul is getting denied the ball a lot where in the past that would never happen. As they went into break, Jalen said:

“Joe Ingles guarding CP3”

Major flashbacks to when Quin put Joe on CP3 in the 2017 playoffs and Chauncey lost it

@BetMGM This is also me. Don’t forget Bismack Biyombo. When will we see that summer repeat itself with the new TV deal?

[Kris Smith @KrisNBA]

@RyanQualtrics I’ll see if I can convince my dad or a friend to join in. Have you picked a winner for Sunday? 👀

[Kris Smith @KrisNBA]

@RyanQualtrics Even though I grew up in the AZ desert, my parents got me NBA LP so we could watch the D-Will led Jazz. My dad desperately misses the beautiful mountains (especially Cache Valley) that he grew up in and is so interested to see how SLC has changed since he moved 40 years ago!

The urge to last-minute road trip to All-Star Weekend is REAL @RyanQualtrics
