@Victoriawrites2 I’m sorry to hear this! I am a convert to the church and went through some of the same with my family. Over time my mother started to come to me for advice and we share our love for the lord with one another. Blessings will come.
BTW… while I will crap on some aspects of church PR… sometimes they knock it out of the park.
This for example is EXACTLY the kind of inspirational mission focused messaging we need.
Its deep.
Its meaningful
Its serious
Its personal
And it points to something bigger.

Here's where I am with religious debate: dialogue that results in clarification of differences can be good, if done with charity and in a spirit of curiosity, not a desire to "win" a contest of wills.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms! So thankful for my mom, wife and all the wonderful mothers that have helped care and shape my life.
@MattTestifies@BrotherGreen13 You are correct my friend. Insulting folks through social media is sad. Kindness always wins. I am big fan of yours Matt. Don’t let these people throwing insults stop you from spreading the love of Christ!!
From the very beginning, God hasn’t just been trying to deliver His people…
He’s been trying to make them holy.
Leaving Egypt wasn’t the end goal for Israel. It was the beginning.
God gave them a tabernacle in the wilderness, covenants, laws, and sacrifices.
Not as rituals for their own sake, but to shape their hearts and point them to the Savior.
“Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.” (Leviticus 19:2)
This pattern is consistent:
God invites His children into covenants to transform them.
So it shouldn’t surprise us that today, temples are central again, places called Holiness to the Lord, where covenants are made and kept.
That’s not a new idea.
That’s the same divine pattern.
“And I give unto you a commandment that you shall build a house unto me… that I may reveal mine ordinances therein.” (D&C 124:40)
Christians everywhere can see it in the Bible:
Holiness isn’t accidental.
It’s covenantal.
