Meet @ericsmithrocks, who will be joining us at our First Page Center Stage LIVE event in Lancaster, PA. Read this interview by @KrisRashid to find out all about Eric and how you can connect with him in person at this event in September! https://t.co/d0VOjOXr2s
@PurveyorProton@LRinaldiArt The Zoom I shared about is still happening Wednesday, but it’s community run and is separate from the Town Hall that was supposed to be held today.
@StreetsDept Free open Zoom call Wednesday 6/5 @ 6:30pm EST, for University of the Arts alumni, students, staff and faculty to help process the news about the sudden closure. Open to anyone that identifies with the UArts community. RSVP to get the zoom link.

@StreetsDept I moved to Philly in 2001 to attend UArts and have been here ever since. There are some online community processing spaces popping up for all current or former UArts folks to connect.

@chelseaauthor Nice! When it was my turn to be the mystery reader in my 2nd grader’s class this year, I chose BOO-BOOS OF BLUEBELL and they all loved it!
@NathalieMLB@HeatherCashman Very cool! We have a rec center named after him in Philadelphia but I don’t know a ton about him. Will keep an eye out for your book once it pubs.
Saddened by this. I had the honor of meeting Katey Howes at @TreeHouse_Books & a @curiousreaderNJ festival. BE A MAKER has been a favorite PB for years & I’ve gifted it many times. I think Katey made the world a brighter place. She’ll be missed in the KidLit community and beyond.
💔Mourning the loss of a friend today.
We, in the kidlit community, know what a generous spirit Katey Howes had. She will be missed by many, but most of all by her family.
My heart goes out to her family for this devastating loss.
May you be comforted by all the happy memories.
I’ve only read the first book in @TrentonLeeStew1’s Mysterious Benedict Society series so far, but Constance Contraire might be one of my favorite characters of all time…and I don’t think I’ll ever get over her reveal at the end of book 1. Pure genius.
