MoU between NRIDA, MoRD & IIM Calcutta

The National Rural Infrastructure Development Agency, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta signed an MoU today at Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi for undertaking a comprehensive 4 year longitudinal Impact Assessment Study of roads constructed under PMGSY-IV and PM-JANMAN

The MoU was signed by Ms Aditi Singh (IAS) Director General, NRIDA, on behalf of NRIDA and Prof. Alok Kumar Rai Director, (IIM Calcutta), in the presence of Secretary, Rural Development, Shri Rohit Kansal and other officials of Ministry and IIM Calcutta marking an important step towards strengthening evidence-based impact assessment of rural connectivity interventions.
