In a landmark moment for Bihar, the museum has earned a place in Worth a Journey’s World’s 100 Best Museums 2026. It is the only Indian museum on the list, ahead of institutions such as the Louvre (31st) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (10th).

Credit where it is due: Nitish Kumar for conceiving and championing this ambitious vision, and Anjani Kumar Singh for the administrative leadership and sustained efforts that helped turn it into reality.

#WATCH | Patna, Bihar | On the Supreme Court cancelling his bail in the murder case of Dularchand Yadav, Mokama MLA Anant Singh says, "I will surrender. The court will grant me bail again. I have faith in the judiciary. Neeraj Kumar first got my name included in the Dularchand murder case. Later, when I had been out on bail for six months, Neeraj took the case to Delhi. I found out about this much later; no notice or any other communication was sent to me—everything was done behind the scenes. When I finally received the report, it was during the election, and I openly opposed him. The party claims I opposed them, but that’s not true—I didn’t oppose the party; I opposed Neeraj... I also don’t believe the government orchestrated this. It was Neeraj’s doing... Neeraj orchestrated the murder of Dularchand himself. He framed Anant Singh, ensuring I was sent to jail..."

The Supreme Court cancels bail granted to JD(U) MLA Anant Singh in the murder case of Dularchand Yadav.

The Court has directed Anant Singh to surrender to the authorities on or before December 1, 2026.

A bench of Justices MM Sundresh and PV Varale noted that the Patna High Court was wrong in its decision granting Singh bail as it did not consider the nature of the offence and criminal antecedents linked to Singh. Thus, it suspended the High Court order and cancelled Singh’s bail.

He says, "He was a party worker who had been working with us for the past six years. What could be more tragic than this?... This (cause of death) is a matter for investigation. Team IIMCAA deeply mourns the tragic loss of our alumnus Mr. Devpalik Gupta (HJ, Delhi | 2018-19 Batch) under mysterious circumstances in Jharkhand. Mr. Gupta was travelling back to Patna from Ranchi by a train with his two friends. His body, which was located near a railway track, has been identified by his brother.

Team IIMCAA prays for strength to the family and friends to bear the irreparable loss. We urge Jharkhand Police to probe this incident thoroughly and make the investigation report public at the earliest.

हम सब भी लगातार कल से झारखंड शासन और रांची प्रशासन के संपर्क में रहे हैं।

~31 वर्षीय देवपालीक, उत्तर प्रदेश के कुशीनगर जिले के रहने वाले थे, IIMC ग्रेजुएट थे। कई प्रमुख अखबार एवं न्यूज चैनल/ या लल्लनटॉप जैसे पोर्टल के लिए कार्य कर चुके थे।

जन सुराज से जुड़े अधिकारिक Page या अन्य सोशल मीडिया कैंपेन के पीछे देवपालिक और उनकी टीम निरंतरता में पिछेल 04 वर्षों से कार्य कर रही थी।

कुछ घंटे पहले उनकी बॉडी, रांची के समीप मूरी में रेलवे ट्रैक के नजदीक से बरामद की गई है। पोस्टमार्टम हेतु बॉडी को रांची के RIMS लाया जा रहा है।

हमें, हम सब को नहीं पता कि हमारे 'देवपालिक गुप्ता' की मौत कैसे और किन परिस्थितियों में हुई है इसलिए यह आधिकारिक रूप से नहीं कह सकते हैं कि यहां किसी प्रकार की राजनैतिक/ अन्य प्रकार की साजिश हुई है। देवपालिक अगर किसी प्रकार के साजिश (राजनैतिक या गैर राजनैतिक) के शिकार हुए है तो उसकी निष्पक्ष जांच की जाए।

STORY | Digital communication manager of Prashant Kishor's party goes missing from moving train

A 21-year-old Uttar Pradesh native has gone missing from a moving train while travelling to Patna from here on Monday, officials said.

Devpalik Gupta of Uttar Pradesh's Kushinagar district and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi, was associated with Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party as a digital communication manager, they said.

Bihar | The Janata Dal (United) has cancelled the primary membership of Anant Kumar Singh, MLA from Mokama, with immediate effect and expelled him from the party for six years.

The party has also recommended to the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly that Singh's membership as an MLA be cancelled under the Tenth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.

Additionally, the party has cancelled the primary membership of former MLA Neelam Devi over her alleged involvement in anti-party activities and expelled her from the party for six years.
