In the times where people are struggling to even stay alive, for some reason students are expected not to worry about their loved ones but whether or not their internet connection is working properly for the exams.

It's been more than 24 hrs students are protesting through social media and the University is completely ignorant of everything. They're still not even ready to hear the students. This is so unacceptable.

MARCH, 2020.
SIU cancelled our exams bcz they wanted to decrease the pressure on students. This year when students are unfortunately suffering with the loss their loved ones and are not in the right frame of mind, our university is being oblivious and is ignoring us.

The mental and physical health of many students have been largely affected by this ongoing pandemic. Students are becoming more and more stressed by increased academic responsibilities and examination schedules.

Please cancel exams! Otherwise it shall take a severe toll on the mental and physical health of a large number of students.

Many students have been loosing their near and dear ones. Students are not in the right mental state to prepare for the examinations in the wake of this pandemic second wave.

There has been an unprecedented number of COVID related deaths reported in the past couple of months. Cases of black fungus are also on the rise in the country. Please cancel exams!

Have no idea why @symbiosistweets isn't ready to understand why students are demanding this.. They should understand and take a decision soon.. forcing them for exams during pandemic is crazy.. will the university take responsibility of every student appearing for the exam?

[Standing_For_What_is_Right! @WhatStanding]

@inc_sanjeev @Zarif_Hosain @symbiosistweets @vidya_symbiosis @drdineshbjp @sohitmishra99 @ShashiTharoor @DrMdJawaid1 Thank you so much sir for understanding this. However siu is not going to do anything. All they would do is refer us to bad counsellors or may be ask us to fill forms which are insensitive
https://t.co/4Ik8l3cPIJ
This is the form pls look. Help us
@vidya_symbiosis so insensitive

[Sanjeev Singh @inc_sanjeev]

@Zarif_Hosain @symbiosistweets @vidya_symbiosis @drdineshbjp @sohitmishra99 @vidya_symbiosis ji this issue has been ongoing since a month now. Loksabha MP @ShashiTharoor ji and @DrMdJawaid1 ji have also requested @symbiosistweets to cancel exams. This reasonable demand of distressed students should be met on grounds of mental health.

Thread : Recent course of events at SIU law schools, why the cancellation of UG exams are an imperative and the scant regard for student concerns by the admin.

Health comes before anything else even before " OUR CAREER AND EDUCATION" we are paying for .There is no motive to escape exams but to stand with people fighting in these tough times.
Kindly cancel exams !!

Read about what is happening at SLS Hyderabad where the students complain that the admin isn't listening to their grievances. Even students who are covid positive are not being given adequate extension. @UmangPod writes

It is unfair to expect students to study and write exams when someone in their family or their friend have passed away or are fighting the battle of their life in hospitals. Please cancel exams!

I think SLS-H didn't receive the memo on 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" because all of us are reeling under the effects of the pandemic while the institute expects to write our exams. The hypocrisy!

Doesn’t a say by the #students concern the admin at all? If not, do REQUESTS from parents, UGC guidelines, own #University Guidelines mean nothing, too, when the admin’s #ego is at stake?CANCEL THE RUTHLESS MODE OF DESCRIPTIVE EXAMS.
