@DrFrancesRyan What gets me is you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Spend money and you’re extravagant, not spend money and your cheap - if you are female and not upper class/royalty.

@barbaradunning1 @RevRichardColes My mother who was a wheel chair user was able to go into the sea for the first time for years because of the service at Nice, slope down to beach and a free of charge water wheelchair with attendants.
@tattooed_bug I attended a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development event on personal branding. Audience 80% female. As we went to questions I said to my colleague new to the world of work ‘the first two speakers will be men’, and they were. Men know the importance of visibility.
