It's the blatant arrogance and negligence of some of these physicians and their NPs that is putting patients in harms way these days.
It's despicable.
And when they get called out on it. We, the RNs on the front line, are over reacting and being rude. Riiiight.
When the ICU NP gets butt hurt and mad that she over heard me say "oh I guess we are being reactive instead of proactive" for a patient that is declining but in her assessment "he's fine" but that was only after meds were given to make him "fine".
Truth hurts huh hun?
"Them democrats are the worst thing ever for this country"
Okayyyyy country bob.
Because it couldnt be that the entire political two party system is trash and their life long petty vendetta against each other is the real reason our economy and system is trash. 💁🏽♀️
Just watched #alicedarling and broke out into my stress/anxiety hives at the memories that were triggered.
Also realizing that unless I'm having a panic attack I don't break out into these hives like I used to when I was with him. Hmmm...
I wouldn't say "new found love" for @lizzo bc I've always loved her. So I'll say reinforced love and appreciation for her and her new album today as my post mini mental breakdown jam session music.
Low key feeling depressed the last couple of days. Especially today.
Even though I got good news about my leg and it won't require surgery, being in pain constantly and knowing it'll be like this for the next 4-6 weeks before I can do PT is making me down.
Trying to utilize my medical leave days off while my leg heals and do school work has not gone as planned.
Muscle relaxers and studying do not mix my friends.
The cruel irony of me injuring my knee the SAME DAY I told my bf I wanted to get back into the gym bc it had been too long and I wanted to get back to where I was fitness wise.
Also I'm so tired of being in pain, I could cry.
