BREAKING: Twelve people are dead after a skydiving plane crashed near an airport in Missouri.

Authorities say the aircraft was carrying 11 skydivers and a pilot when it went down near Butler Memorial Airport.

Emergency crews responded to the fiery crash scene as federal investigators begin working to determine what caused the tragedy.

M31 enroute to Bergan Code 2 from 70th and Q Street with a 50s male who ran from police this evening. Law enforcement had been looking for him after he fled from an officer a few weeks ago. Officers checked a bar that he ran in to but it was determined he most likely hopped a fence and headed on to the Papio Trail. He was taken into custody after he decided to walk into the creek before ultimately being tased.
