@DefiantLs This isn’t a swimming class. This is a class for toddlers that teaches them how to roll and float in case they fall in the pool. It’s done fully dressed and in shoes specifically because it’s a lifesaving technique for falling in the pool accidentally. It isn’t cruel.

@VivekGRamaswamy When you self pay you negotiate your prices and pay fair market price. If more people self pay we can moderate the cost of medical expenses and daily needs and balance out the higher priced care. Insurance companies will be forced to compete again and provide better coverage.

@VivekGRamaswamy We have been paying our own medical expenses since 2008 and prefer it to dealing with insurance. Would love to have catastrophic policies brought back where we can pay a modest monthly to have coverage only in the event of major emergency and just pay cash for the daily stuff.

@VivekGRamaswamy Obamacare took away catastrophic policies and required us to pay $1,400 per month with a $25,000 deductible per person. It also required us to pay for insurance we didn’t need. Prior, you could opt out of maternity coverage. Obamacare requires
it.

@richplow The money that comes from the federal Department of Education has requirements that have to be met in order to receive funding. This means the money isn’t going to every school that needs it. He isn’t eliminating funding he’s eliminating federal control. There’s a difference.

@WhamBaamX Bikes and scooter users today don’t understand the proper use of the lane. In the 70’s and 80’s, when all was good in the world, we were taught to use a bike lane in the opposite direction of oncoming traffic so cars would see us coming and avoid this from happening.
