Carly with a birdie, 3 pars, 4 bogeys and a double bogey for a 41 on the back nine. An amazing 81 for the day!

Kristen had two pars, six bogeys and a triple bogey on the back nine to shoot a 45. She finished the day with a very respectable 93.

Good Luck to Carly Bronson and Kristen Watson at the State Golf Tournament today and tomorrow! Kristen tees off today at 12:16 and Carly at 12:32 at Pebble Creek in Becker.

Congrats to the girls golfers, as they finished 2nd in the Section! Carly Bronson finished 3rd overall with a 177 overall (89 today) and qualified for state. Kristen Watson shot a 191 overall (94 today) and also qualified for state with a 9th place finish.

For the third straight year we are lucky enough to announce that we have two girls on the Class A All-State team! Only the top ten across the entire state in each class are selected!

Next up is the section championship game vs Goodhue on Thursday night, 6pm.

The girls played outstanding tonight and brought home the Gopher Conference Championship trophy for the third straight year with a 70-49 victory over Maple River!
