BREAKING: Donald Trump gets slammed with nightmare news as the fully exonerated Central Park Five sue him for defaming them at the most recent presidential debate.

This timing could not be any worse for Trump...

Trump falsely claimed during his debate with Kamala Harris that the five members "admitted, they said, they pled guilty."

"And I said, well, if they pled guilty they badly hurt a person, killed a person ultimately. And if they pled guilty, then they pled we’re not guilty," he added.

In reality, the five Black and Hispanic teenagers were wrongfully convicted of rape and assault in 1989. They were imprisoned for years before the convictions were overturned when the real culprit confessed and DNA evidence emerged.

Not only that, but nobody was killed. Trump's lie is so absurd that he bungles even the basic facts of the case. He infamously took out full-page newspaper ads at the time calling for the five to be executed. This is about racism for him.

In their new lawsuit, the five accuse Trump of making his remarks with "reckless disregard for their falsity" to tens of millions of Americans watching from home.

The lawsuit further makes clear that they never pleaded guilty and nobody was killed.

"Defendant Trump’s conduct at the September 10 debate was extreme and outrageous, and it was intended to cause severe emotional distress to Plaintiffs," the complaint reads.

The lawsuit includes defamation as well as false light and intentional infliction of emotional distress. It was filed in federal court in Pennsylvania.

The Central Park Five previously received a massive $41 million from New York City through a civil rights lawsuit. Let's hope they extract even more from Trump!
