After three hours on the phone and chat talking to 5 @Ally employees about how they messed up and did not expedite my cashier’s check, the answer I got from all five was “there’s nothing we can do.” I don’t get to move into my new apartment on Monday because of their error.
@AllyCare I need someone to help me understand why a failure on your end meaning that I may be homeless on Monday is at all acceptable, and why the response I’ve gotten from four customer service reps has been “sorry, nothing we can do.”
@AmericanAir we were supposed to arrive in STL at 8:30. Sat on the plane for 2.5 hours now changing planes. No agents to be found at new gate no recourse offered. Did we give up on customer service or...?

@HumanOfHigherEd We spend a large chunk of our time arguing over whether it's a res hall or a dorm, then complain that faculty don't understand us. Can you blame them?! (Spoiler: it's a dorm.)
@HumanOfHigherEd Live-in professionals (including RAs) need to stop being used as counselors, programmers, career coaches, conduct officers, etc. Only to then be unable to get a job in another functional area bc we've got no "transferrable skills."
@HumanOfHigherEd We shouldn't have to work 60 hours a week and go to every after-hours event (for less than half what we'd make in a different field with a master's) to prove that we care about our jobs.
