Last night, I watched Bachelor in Paradise with some new RAโs.
This morning, one came up to me and said, โwe decided that we will only ever watch this show with you now, your reactions and commentary are GOLD, so are you coming tonight?โ
Literally made my day. I love this job.
Today someone asked me how I am perfectly tan all the time and seriously, you have no idea how much I am going to remember that and live off of that affirmation for many years to come.
Psalm 145. On Saturday, these verses brought me to a serious ugly cry, like hyperventilating, hot tears, heap of a mess on my couch type of thing. And I have been reading these words every morning since! Thankful for a God who meets us with compassion when we fail! ๐๐ฝโจ
I was just talking about this the other day! This was my FAVORITE Cinderella remake! It came out when I was a young kid, and watching Cinderella with multiple ethnicities was so powerful!
Yโall apparently donโt Remember the Black Cinderella staring Brandy with Whitney Houston as the fairy godmother and an Asian Prince Charming. #BlackAriel ainโt even new
I lose so much respect for people who say/have said that they โdonโt drinkโ, but are always socially drinking.
Let your yes be yes and your no be no.
(This is NOT about the theology of drinking, I just have a problem with people who canโt follow their own convictions.) ๐
Searched. Known. Understood. Comprehended. Acquainted. Hedged. Lead. Held. Formed. Covered. Seen.
These are all the things we are in Jesus, as reflected from Psalm 139; what great truths to be reminded of today and everyday.
When Iโm stressed, I plan little details of my wedding. This is just who I am and is something I have done since college. Today, I planned out my bouquets and flowers. Future Kristi will be thankful for Stressed Out Kristi.
Took my little nieces-in-love to see Toy Story 4 today. Aria clapped when it started. Cadence shrieked anytime we all laughed. Pure joy. I love these girls. ๐
@jessicaebarmer I agree! ๐ I think that 18+ (or when mature) parents should begin having those conversations & budgeting lessons. What I was referring to is parents who say unnecessary things (not receiving payment during sick leave, saying โthey donโt know how theyโre going to make itโ, etc.).
Parenting Hot Take: I donโt think parents should share their serious financial worries, emotional struggles, etc. with their young children. There must be discernment when sharing with the young ones whom youโre to take care of; they need to feel safe & stable, even if you donโt.
