But it's whether or not they recognize it. The indignation is how you can spot how they know they were wrong but refuse to admit it.

You don't get to decide if what you say and do is racist. It's how it impacts PoC and others. Claiming "I am not racist," makes you no better than a MAGAt. I made a comment on relaxed hair that was absolutely racist. No one batted an eyelash. It's a test. You failed.
