Proud to share my thesis work @nyugrossman on the protective role of IRG1 & itaconate in atherosclerosis!🫀🎉 This project was a labor of love & years in the making. Thanks @ycyr06, our collaborators @GiannarelliL, and my mentor @KathrynMooreLab@NYULHCVRC https://t.co/eHmSrP7VI0
@WallaceUcsf Anthony Khong from Roy Parker’s group has a great protocol for stress granules isolation (Mol Cell 2017) with FISH experiments to confirm transcripts are within granules. You can also use APEX-seq without isolating the granules, look at work by the Ingolia group. Best of luck!
Fantastic first day of our NYU CVRC Retreat, organized by @KathrynMooreLab and @ChiaraGiannare1, with talks by senior and junior faculty, trainees, and pilot project awardees. Beautiful setting. Great science. Lots of new therapeutic targets.
Congratulations to @FazliBozal from the @KathrynMooreLab whose poster was identified as the top-rated submission by a student in the Translational Research category for Medicine Research Day 2022
