Thank you, @SHRTampa, for delivering lunch to our 100 families on our Tampa campus. Today they are enjoying delicious chicken salad sandwiches, chips, pasta salad, fresh fruit, and carrot cake for dessert. Because of you, they are making memories over a great lunch!

"We need about 900 volunteers, @timatmetromin said, and we were getting by with about 500 until schools reopened."

This week, it could call on only about 135 volunteers. Fewer still are signed up for next week.

Thank you @TB_Times for sharing this need.

Every family should be able to celebrate the holidays. This year, with #COVID19, the outlook is bleak. You can change that by joining the Empty Plate Challenge.

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to hand out 15,697 food boxes so far, including 786 home deliveries.

We’ve been able to purchase $550k in food.

We’ve paid $715k directly to landlords and utility companies to keep people from becoming homeless.

Vanessa & her son were evicted with nowhere to go. Living in their car, they pulled into our parking lot with no hope. In tears, she explained her panic in the wake of #COVID19. In the last 24 hours, we’ve seen 200 more families like Vanessa’s. Give today: https://t.co/9K9JMHSBCo
