I know I have been questioned as a female in a male-dominated field on my abilities and usually do not get support like I ought to.

More times than not, hearing spoken truth - even if it’s hard to hear - is an opp for healing. I have been severely impacted by suicide in my family and truly believe that those who suffer would have far less attempts if they only heard the truth from a caring professional.

I often take care of people after suicide attempts. When they explain why they tried to die, a large proportion say they could no longer see “the point” in life. “There’s no meaning for me, no reason to live.” Most clinicians push against this idea to dissuade people from it. 1/

@KBSpangler Prefer Lowes over HD, but the HD closest to me totally went out of their way to search for our warranty on a hot water heater we had bought 5 years ago. The warranty was to expire in 3 days, so they just gave us an entirely new one. Just like that. I love Ace for small purchases.
