The Research Vessel Sagar Manjusha plays a pivotal role in advancing India’s ocean research and buoy operations.

Commissioned by the @moesgoi, the vessel supports the deployment and maintenance of ocean observation systems, enables scientific sampling, and facilitates in-situ data collection at sea.

The vessel designed for short- to mid-duration missions is also equipped with modern onboard facilities to support researchers.

From deploying buoys to enabling training and marine research, Sagar Manjusha is strengthening ocean monitoring and enhancing our understanding of marine ecosystems and coastal resilience

Under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi, India has significantly strengthened its weather observation network, enhancing the nation's capacity for accurate and timely weather forecasting.

Over the past 12 years, the number of Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) across the country has increased from 675 in 2014 to 1,208 in 2026, a 1.8-fold expansion in weather observation capacity.

Developed under the @moesgoi, these stations provide real-time meteorological data that support weather forecasting, disaster preparedness, agriculture, aviation, water resource management, and climate services.

#SouthAfrica Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation, Dr Nomalungelo Gina called on, accompanied by a high-level delegation.

On behalf of India, called for Next-Generation Technology Partnership, focused on Emerging Technologies. The South Africa side sought to scale up bilateral cooperation in future technologies, with Artificial Intelligence, Digital Infrastructure and Advanced Manufacturing as key priorities.  

The two countries possess complementary strengths that can be leveraged to create affordable, scalable and inclusive technological solutions for the developing world. A key outcome of the discussions was the decision to intensify collaboration in Advanced Materials and Manufacturing, Geospatial Technologies and Digital Infrastructure, priority areas identified under the India-South Africa Joint Committee mechanism. The two countries have already built an extensive network of collaborative research initiatives, including nearly 150 co-funded projects across diverse scientific disciplines.

Invited South Africa’s active participation in the BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation Ministerial Meeting scheduled to be held at Chennai in August 2026. The South Africa side also invited India to participate in the Science Forum South Africa 2026, one of Africa’s premier platforms for global scientific dialogue, knowledge exchange and innovation partnerships.

ग्रेटर नोएडा के जेवर से एक बेहद विचलित करने वाली और हृदयविदारक घटना सामने आई है। एक 15 वर्षीय ब्राह्मण बच्चे के साथ जो बर्बरता हुई है, वह रूह कंपा देने वाली है। परिजनों और स्थानीय लोगों का आरोप है कि बच्चे के साथ दुराचार किया गया, उसकी जीभ काटी गई, आंखें निकाली गईं और उसे जलाकर मार डाला गया। दरिंदगी की सारी हदें पार कर दी गई हैं। 🧵

सबसे बड़ा सवाल यह है कि इतनी भयानक घटना पर नेशनल मीडिया और बड़े नेता खामोश क्यों हैं? क्या सिर्फ इसलिए क्योंकि पीड़ित बच्चा ब्राह्मण समाज से है? यह एक कड़वा सच बनता जा रहा है कि इस देश में जाति देखकर मामले उठाए जाते हैं। अगर यही घटना किसी अन्य वर्ग के साथ हुई होती, तो शायद अब तक पूरा तंत्र वहां पहुंच चुका होता और हर चैनल पर डिबेट हो रही होती।

परिजनों का स्पष्ट आरोप है कि यह एक सोची-समझी साजिश है। लापता होने के बाद बच्चे का क्षत-विक्षत शव एक बंद मकान से बरामद हुआ। स्थानीय तंत्र पर मामले को दबाने की कोशिश करने का भी आरोप है। आखिर सेलेक्टिव आउटरेज (Selective Outrage) क्यों? अपराध, अपराध होता है, और दर्द हर माँ का एक जैसा होता है

हम प्रशासन, राज्य सरकार और पुलिस से मांग करते हैं कि इस जघन्य हत्याकांड की निष्पक्ष और उच्च स्तरीय जांच हो। दोषियों की तुरंत गिरफ्तारी हो और उन्हें कड़ी से कड़ी सजा (फांसी) मिले। इस दुख की घड़ी में हम पीड़ित परिवार के साथ खड़े हैं।
