Any attempt by parliament to forcefully change the SETTLED principles of the Treaty, would be a new breach of the Treaty itself, and possibly a brand new claim under the said Treaty. My experience with dealing with both Maori and Asian people in a collaborative environment is that there is mutual respect between then and the they view one another as indigenous people of their own lands.
