@KrogTeacher A4: Immersion--Go beyond the four walls of your classroom! Go down the hallway, go to the gym, go out in the hallway, go anywhere you think your students will get a better understanding of the lesson! Jump in the water! #smsutlap
@KrogTeacher A4: Asking a crazy question as an introduction to your lesson, entering the classroom with tons of energy, wearing certain costumes that relates to the lesson, getting students up and moving, and relating the content to their interests!
A4: I would have to say the safari hook would be my favorite! Getting the students out into an environment that can help them get a better understanding of the concept can be extremely helpful and fun! #smsutlap
@MsFink20 A3: There are lots of ways to be immersive in your teaching! I think the big ones are actively listening to your students and finding ways to dive into what your student are doing and help them work through each problem! This may be visually, verbally or and hands on! #smsutlap
@KrogTeacher A2: you need to be a lifeguard BEFORE you can be a swimmer. You need to make sure all of your swimmers are safe and comfortable in the water before you can jump in! #smsutlap
A2: To be a great teacher you must be both a lifeguard and swimmer. You must sit back and figure out what your student are passionate about and how they learn the best. Then you must dive in and be immersive to your student using that knowledge you gained from being a lifeguard!
