Superman movies in general focus on romance with Lois Lane which doesn’t reveal much about him.

She’s not used to protecting in battle because Amazons are trained warriors who pull their own. New 52 isn’t the best, but they’re not symbols yet. They’re younger.

@FaceOfMelinda01 @lasthomewrecker Clark and Lois only became a thing due to the 1978 Superman movie which inspired John Byrnes and his era. Before that, it was a “Will they / Won’t they” dynamic. Silver Age, Lois was flat out crazy, even antagonistic. Lori Lemaris was the first real Superman relationship.
