Not to be argumentative but you are relying on low quality audit evidence because you really don't ever have a connection between the person that voted and the person that registered. Is that deception? And even questioning the people that were right there could not tell you if the person that voted was the person that registered. That is an improperly designed control. Imagine a scenario with a simple thumbprint or ID at the point of voting.

Of keeping America out of wars? Right. Really, though, the value of the opportunity weighed against the cost of the other options changed. Risk just weighs less than it used to because the level of frustration is higher. This is normal after FDR and Wilson also ran on keeping America out of a war. I am not saying that he is always right, but he has a proven track record of freeing up money and people and grabbing juicy opportunities. I think he can smell them.

People seem to really hate him, which is very plausible. T Rex walks a fine line for a lot of people. Boomers have a theme. They hate Hitler so much that anything that is remotely like nationalism and militarism, is like nails on a chalkboard. All their lives, they have heard that men like Donald Trump and people that like him are, absolutely NAZIs. Many people's parents very literally framed basic childhood problems in terms of gassing Jews and making lampshades. They are vicariously traumatized and the result is that any discussion of self-interest when the slightest hint of good and evil, right and wrong are at stake, is a very difficult dilemma trapped in some of the most painful memories of the men they loved more than anything. That "greatest generation" bullshit fucked them so hard that we have had to fucking sit through the goddamn preaching ever since! How else can you explain Meredeth Baxter? We retreated as far as Star Trek to keep some of the traditional values and they destroyed Klingons! The last place for men became the podcast, the Church, and the UFC. For Boomers, they hear the wolves and see that the sun is setting. No matter what they do, soon, they peep-holes are going to close. They think they see (as they look back on being eleven years old and being yelled at about not stopping Hitler because they weren't perfect) is an alph male talking about what they were told they were supposed to stop. The "not greatest" generation was given one job by President Ronald Reagan and John F. Kennedy and John Wayne. A No Kings rally is almost a perfect analogy. Kings are the giver of rings. They give those rings for excellence, but sometimes, Kings gives those rings to do evil. A better sign would read "I'm Sorry, Dad! I AM SO SORRY!

Opportunity. The opportunity arose, and T Rex being who he is, chose to use accumulated resources. Tariffs, cuts, and an entire government working in concert instead of playing into the usual D.C. games, puts a lot of resources on the table. Usually, a government is less poorly led or less committed, and lets some juicy advantage fly by.
