Dear FaZe @Banks,

My name is Christopher, I’m 21 years old and I’m currently a student in university. I’m a mix of French German and Turkish and grew up for 10 years in Asia before moving to Europe for my studies. Out of all the changes that have occurred in my life, one of the few constants that has always been there for the past 11 years now is my love for gaming and the very first org that I discovered back in 2013, FaZe Clan. I started playing Cod back in MW2 (I was way too young for it back in the day but no regrets here). The one thing that would get me excited to come home after was cool was watching Adapt’s, Rain’s, Jev, and a lot of the New York guys’ cut comms. My top 2 NY moments have to be Adapt’s I love it and you smashing the hole in the wall). You guys truly showed me that gaming is a passion that can be shared with everyone. I still watch Jev pretty much everyday since he joined FaZe, as my love for these types of videos has never died. Maybe it’s that nostalgic feeling idk. I’m currently writing my Bachelor’s thesis on Esports and gaming organizations, because if I were to write an academic paper on anything why not it be on what I love. I am required to conduct interviews in order to complete my thesis, and I know the timing of things might not be the best with all the rebranding of FaZe,the Founding Father’s LAN (what a nostalgic event btw) and everything else you have going on, but it might also be the best. So here I am, asking you if I could have the honor and blessing of a lifetime by interviewing you to complete my thesis. XDefiant is doing so much right:

- listening to community feedback
- red dots on minimap
- great, bright maps
- 14 maps at LAUNCH
- 24 weapons in beta
- ranked play
- No SBMM
- solid UI
- map voting
- free 10 tiered battlepass
- movement, skill gap and good TTK

They are fulfilling a market that has been abandoned by Call of Duty, a fun to play, arcade-like, casual FPS experience. I think as a gaming community, we need to give XDefiant a solid chance with our support. Uplifting a game like this could be beneficial to us all and put pressure on other studios to rethink their direction. I’m excited about XDefiant and hope that it’s here to stay.
