@IVSoftware I'm enjoying the fail masterclasses, thanks. I'm wondering why Zachtronics (e.g.) seems to have a fairly short dev-to-launch cycle compared to introversion? Why not launch several smaller games to experiment, instead of the masterclass?

@diceydungeons Oop... found a bug though - Loud Bird weakened my Bear Charge+ in the previous fight, I put 1 on it in its weakened state, and at the start of this one it's asking for 10 instead of 5. Still happy though :D @diceydungeons

On my second run ever, I'm the thief and my copy ability steals the Alchemist's Bear Potion. I thought it would be *for the fight*. NOPE! Permanent bear awesomeness :D And the fact that the shopkeeper even takes note?! Loving the detail in @diceydungeons!

@redrapids @pragprog @chris_mccord @josevalim Unless the audience really is meant to be people who already knew Phoenix 1.2 and just wanted to upgrade to 1.4 and try Liveview, it felt like a really poor way to be introduced to the framework. Maybe just not my cup of tea.

@redrapids @pragprog @chris_mccord @josevalim The whole first half is just walking through several examples with no coherent map of why, zero diagrams to explain flow, and a lot of informal talk about "wow that was a lot of difficult information" but "wow Phoenix handles so much for you".

@pragprog how do I report a bug in the Phoenix beta ebook? On book page 96 the closing %> on form_for must be on the same line as the fn f ->. If copied directly from the book a misleading error about a missing "end" terminator is reported. Please let the author know, thanks! :)

@pragprog I chugged the Elixir book and built a working site with Elm, now I want to combine them with Phoenix, but it looks like the physical copy is a month away. If I buy the ebook today is there a discount on the physical copy, or a preorder? I'd really like both. Thanks!
