This #givingtuesday2020, we're giving thanks to everyone who has supported our work to assist families in need this year... people like Ann and R.W. Williams. Their generosity extends through grandsons Davis and Harrison, have assisted with the distribution of Harvest Bags. ❤️

Today, and always, we are thankful for everyone who shares their time, talents, and treasure - and general good thoughts and encouragement! - to make the world a better place. Because of you, we are able to help more vulnerable families as we all navigate these difficult times.❤️

A shout-out today to Soil Supply in Huntersville, who donated a portion of the landscaping materials needed to transform our 'natural' (muddy) courtyard into a beautiful outdoor gathering space!

How it started: How it's going:

[Senator Natasha Marcus @NatashaMarcusNC]

First we expect teachers to protect students from evil gunmen, and now we ask them to risk catching a highly-contagious deadly virus. It’s too much, even if we paid them hazard pay, which we most certainly do not. RIP Julie Davis. 😥💔

[Joy Warner @JoyKWarner]

Excellent document shared by @HCPSNC to remind families of our important partnership for health and safety during Covid.

[Tony Dick @TonyDick]

RIP Dr. Anthony S. Abbott (Jan 7,1935- Oct 3,2020)! He taught & lived by example. Creative, inspiring, scholarly, sharing, caring, insightful, demanding, original, joyful, accomplished, loving, devoted. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💔❤️‼️
