Lance Naik Prem Pal displayed the utmost #courage in face of enemy. Despite being under heavy fire from three enemy posts, He volunteered to replenish ammunition of Automatic Grenade Launcher of his post and was hit by a splinter in the thigh.

The kerosene barrels of his post were hit by a shell due to which a fire started and soon began spreading towards ammunition #bunker. Undeterred, he carried on and #successfully put off the flames. While crawling back to his shelter, he was hit directly by an #artillery shell and succumbed to injury.
